I Owe You One!
Well again it has been ages..I've been having a severe case of writers block. Things have been remotely crazy with the move and trying to get the boys all situated. A few months later it has finally started to calm down. Our days have been pretty well typical as typical can be.
Onward to Zman, as most of you know Z suffers from PDD-NOS. It has been a real trip with him the past few months. Good days and mediocre days and not so good ones too. In all honestly I think he is doing fantastic. We have him all squared away with a doctor now. Whom I'm really liking. He has been incredibly helpful with all of Z’s issues, he has even called him into a behavioral therapist. He starts that later this week. I'm looking forward to it. Anything that will help take the “edge” off for him.
He has had a undie fetish for the past month or so. He insists on changing them every time he potty’s,or he feels the need to wear multiple pairs…like 4 or 5. I know ridiculous right! LOL . Nothing really helps when he gets into his “mode” He seems to shut everything off at that point. We’ve finally gotten through to him a little bit. Just letting him know that its ok to keep his previous pair on. His bowels are finally moving again too! YAY! He has actually been doing his business on the toilet as well. That has been a big step for him.
As for Beefy, he has adjusted better than I or We thought he would. With just turning 2 new problems have arrived… yes that's right problems. He has begun the “terrible” 2’s stage. I honestly never thought he would delve into that status quo. The fits and disobedience have been rather humorous for some reason. Maybe because it is so out of character for him to act that way. He is still fighting his molars. Only 2 to go! It has severely affected his eating this go around. Either that or the age 2 strikes again! Who knows.
Let me tell you a little about sibling rivalry… all I can say is OMG! Zman is a pusher, always has to push poor Beef to the point of crying or now sheer anger. Beefy is actually fighting back now. I'm proud of him for standing up to his big brother, but he is starting to push and hit him as well. That I’m not so fond of. Again, this all part of it, a part of mommyhood I need to get used to it I suppose.
